There are 2 ways to maintain teak outdoor furniture.

You can do NOTHING to it, or you can oil it.

If you decide to oil teak furniture, make sure furniture is clean and completely 100 % totally dry before applying teak oil.

If furniture isn't completely 100 % dry and you oil your furniture, you are trapping the moisture.When moisture is traped, mold can and will happen.

Teak furniture can be cleaned with water and mild soap.Srub along with the grain.

If you decide to use your teak furniture indoor or under the patio cover, use teak oil because red wine and oil can be very hard to remove.

(again….Be sure furniture is clean and completely 100 % dry before applying teak oil)

Teak will turn to silver grey color over time when not treated.
